Here are some of the things people often ask about family, branding, and commercial photography sessions – from what to expect through to how it all works.
What photography services do you offer?
I offer family and children’s photography, personal branding photography, and commercial photography, including business, workplace, and property imagery.
Where do photography sessions take place?
Sessions can be held outdoors at beautiful Coromandel locations or in my pop-up studio using professional lighting and equipment.
How long does a photo session take?
Session times vary depending on what you book:

- Family sessions: 45–60 minutes
- Children’s sessions: around 30 minutes
- Baby milestone sessions: up to 1 hour
- Mini sessions: around 10 minutes
Can parents be included in the photos?
Absolutely – I always encourage parents to jump in for family photos. Some of the best moments happen when everyone is together.
What is a cake smash session?
A cake smash is a fun first birthday photo shoot where your child gets to explore (and destroy!) a cake while I capture all the joy and reactions – along with some portraits before things get messy.
Do you provide the cake?
Yes – a custom, baby-friendly cake is included. Just let me know about any allergies or dietary requirements.
Do you offer themes or styling?
Yes – I offer simple colour palettes and styling options for studio sessions. For outdoor shoots, we use the natural beauty of the location and keep things relaxed and timeless.
What is included in a branding or business photoshoot?
Branding and commercial photography sessions are designed to create a library of professional images for your website, social media, and marketing. This can include headshots, workplace imagery, lifestyle shots, and content for your brand.
How do I prepare for a branding or commercial shoot?
I’ll guide you through this, but generally it helps to think about how you’ll use your images, what you’d like to showcase, and bring along anything that reflects your work or brand.
How do I book a photography session?
You can book by getting in touch via the contact page or giving me a call. I’ll help you choose the right session and find a date that works.
When should I book my session?
It’s best to book in advance, especially for weekends or special occasions, to make sure you get your preferred date.
How much does a photography session cost?
Pricing varies depending on the type of session. You can find full details on the Services page, or feel free to get in touch for a tailored option.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes – payment plans are available for selected packages. Just ask and I can talk you through the options.
When will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive a private online gallery within approximately 2–3 weeks, where you can view and download your images. Mini sessions are delivered sooner.
Do I receive digital images?
Yes – all packages include professionally edited, high-resolution digital images for you to download, print, and share.
Do you offer prints or albums?
At the moment, I focus on digital delivery, but I can recommend local printing options if needed.
